Children 0-6 years old and their caregivers can join Communities Together for Children staff for a fun playgroup Thursday afternoons. These playgroups will be indoors and outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
This is an opportunity for individuals to come and talk to a counsellor from the Children's Centre about any concerns that they have, in a safe and inclusive space. First come, first served. The Emergency Food Cupboard is open at the Windsor site every Thursday afternoon. This service can be accessed once a month for those who require emergency relief (two days worth of food for the whole family). Identification is required for your first visit. Youth Move is for anyone between the ages of 10 to 18 looking for ways to get involved in their community, make some new friends and try different activities. The I Love To… program is a free program providing children aged 5-12 years old in the neighbourhood an opportunity to participate in organized sports with other kids in the area. This is a community effort whose goal is to provide communities an opportunity to unite and grow through sport! Equipment and snacks are provided.
